As Founding Partner of the Russell Williams
Group, Brenda Williams has over 20 years of strategic planning,
branding and creative problem-solving experience that enables
her to develop long-term strategic solutions to challenging business
issues. "We look for ingenious ways to solve tough
business problems, and bring those solutions to life within companies,"
says Williams.
Ms. Williams espouses a unique belief that "strategy
is human". As such, she and her team collaborate with
executives to develop pre-emptive business strategies that are
internalized and acted upon. Her unique approach fuses rigor and
analysis with creativity and intuition to develop groundbreaking
results.
Engagements include global corporate decision-making
initiatives such as vision development, corporate positioning,
internal branding, and identifying and developing growth initiatives.
Client experience includes The Walt Disney Company, Cummins Engine, Procter
& Gamble, Starcom Mediavest Group, Lenscrafters, American
Express, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and a vast array of others.
Prior to forming RWG, Brenda served 14 years
at Leo Burnett global advertising agency as Founder of the Lab,
a freestanding subsidiary specializing in brand consulting.
She also spent 2 1/2 years at McKinsey & Company, an international
management consultancy firm.
Ms. Williams graduated with honors from the
University of Colorado, with a double major in Communications
and Psychology. Additionally, she has conducted graduate
studies at Northwestern University as well as executive studies
at the University of Chicago and Harvard University. She
has given many keynote addresses and is featured in the University
of Colorado's business textbook, "Profiles in American Enterprise."
Brenda also was featured in the November 1998
issue of Fast Company
Magazine in an article, "Twice the Career, Half the Time."
Additionally she has participated as a guest speaker for subsequent
Fast Company and American Marketing Association events.
